Christmas in Blackfoot

We were able to spent from December 18th thru the 26 in Blackfoot. We had so much fun and it flew by way to fast. The day Dallin got home (the 18th) Brant's Aunt Amy started going into labor and had her baby later that night. We got to go meet her the next day and it was so much fun. They named her Sophie and she is honestly one of the cutest babies I have ever seen. I couldn't believe the hair she had. She has more hair than Taylee and we have been working on that much hair for a year! Sophie really is darling. Makes me want to have another baby. I just wish I could just go to the hospital and pick up my baby and not have to be pregnant for 9 months. :) Oh well. Its worth it when they are here.
We were able to go to I-Jump before Christmas and it was a lot of fun. I had never been to a trampoline place before. We jumped our little hearts out. Taylee loved it. We would slide her down the side of the tramps and she loved it. I throught she would be scared. She is a dare devil... she doesn't get that from me. I'm the biggest scary cat.

There is a horse outside Angie and Blair's townhome and Taylee loved it. That's the first thing she wanted to see as soon as she got up in the morning and after every nap. Taylee loves animals. Hopefully someday we can get a dog or something.... but that won't be for a while. Until then we will just have to visit "Jim" the horse when we go to Blackfoot.

It was Taylee's first experience with snow and she loved it.... till she fell and snow on her hands. She loves to be outside. She doesn't care how cold it is she would be outside all day.

Christmas

Christmas Eve was very relax which was really nice. There was a flu bug going around and Angie, Dallin and I all happen to caught it. I took some type of anti-nausea medication and it made it feel so weird all day. I pretty much slept and wasn't coherent all day long. Thankfully Taylee had people to watch her... Chrsitmas Eve we went over to Brant's grandparents and had French dip sandwich and a small program. It was great to listen to more of Dallin's mission stories. He really did a great job!

Christmas Morning did start out to early thankfully. I think we were up by 7:30 or so. Taylee did a pretty good job opening presents this year. She got a little bored towards the end. She got a shopping cart, clothes, basketball hoop, putter and tons more. She is so spoiled! Christmas is so much fun with kids. After opening presents we ate strawberry waffles which is one of the Truman Family traditions. They were very tasty! The rest of the day we just relaxed and enjoyed one another company. It was a great Christmas!

Brant made a coffee table out of wood crates. Its so cute! I'm so excited to get it stained and put it in my apartment. He did such a good job. Brant's mom made us a super warm and cozy blanket, which will be put to good use!
