Taking our pumpkin to the Pumpkin Patch

The Last Volleyball Game

We took Taylee to my cousin's Britney and Kaitlyn's volleyball games so we can get her broke in early.... now we just need to work on her actually watching the games... :) She loves playing with her cousins. Brant and I come second to them.  10/23/11

Pumpkin Patch

There is such a fun pumpkin patch here in the Tri-cities and I have heard from many people what a great time they had.... I thought Taylee would be a little to young to take her this year, but I'm so glad we did. It was well worth our money and I got so many cute pictures!!!
Taylee wanted down to walk and crawl around. She wanted to hold her very own pumpkin... it didn't last long but we let her little determined mind think she was super strong!

Holding her Pumpkin... looked more like a squash through

 Taylee's First Corn maze
We had so much fun and created many memories! Hopefully we can make it a fall tradition. Taylee seemed to enjoy herself even though it was a little cold and rainy. Taylee is so much fun, Brant and I make the comment almost daily "What would be do without Taylee.... we would be so bored!" She brings to much joy into our lives and is also teaching us the importance of being consistent when parenting. She isn't afraid to push the limits and she will do it with a big grin! :)

Escape to Parma

A couple weeks ago we decided to make a quick trip to Parma. I thought we probably wouldn't go down there until Thanksgiving but Brant called me up on that Friday and said "Do you want to go to Parma" of course I didn't protest and said Yes! It was a lot of fun. Good to get away and be able to relax a little. We went out for dinner Saturday night to a sandwich stop and then were able to go to the temple open house. It was a great experience.

Blaine is so good with his Nieces! They love him!
We weren't going to take Taylee in the temple with us but then decided to. Before going into the temple Taylee was being such a pill! I was already regretting bringing her with us but then the second we walked into the temple she was silent and didn't make a peep (which is VERY unusual for Taylee) She just smiled and pointed at all the workers in there. She was quite a hit. Taylee must have known it was a special place. Children are so close to Heaven.

Its so much fun for Alysha and I to have daughters so close in age. I can't wait for them to be best friends. The chubbier Ellie gets the more she is starting to look like Ellie. Taylee just adores Ellie and wants to spend the whole time kissing her. Thankfully Ellie is so easy going to just lets Taylee maul to death.

We had a lot of fun in Parma and that is thanks to my wonderful parents! We look forward to seeing Brant's parents very soon!

Feeding the ducks and Turning a year older

I have been dying to go feed the ducks since we moved here. When I was little we use to go all the time. I finally convinced everyone and it was a lot of fun.

Taylee wasn't quiet sure what to think about the ducks...

Birthday Bash

I had the best birthday this year.... Brant did a great job picking out all my present. He even remembered I loved Dairy Queen Ice Cream Cake... We also found out that Taylee loves it to.

Taylee decided to dive in....

 and she wouldn't stop...

We had to step in and stop her which....
Made her very upset.... no more cake for Taylee....

I'm looking forward to Taylee's Birthday that is coming up so soon!! I'm still trying to decided on a cute theme. I'm excited to make Taylee her very own cake and just let her dig right into it. She won't even need any present.... she will just be happy to eat cake.

The time has come...

I have been wanting to start a blog... and its about time I start! I'm really not sure where to began though.
Brant and I met at BYU-I during his last semester of school. I instantly knew there was something special about him and I couldn't have been more right. I really don't believe that I could have found a person that is better for me. He is more than I could have dreamed of. I feel more blessed everyday to have him as my husband.

After Brant graduated we lived in Rexburg where he worked and I went to school. We had to much fun being able to live in the same city as my sister Alysha and her husband Michael and Brant's brother Dexter and his wife Katie. We still miss Rexburg because of the friends and family we had there but we don't miss the weather. After being married almost a year Brant got a job in Washington so we packed up and moved. Thankfully we were able to live with my aunt and uncle till we got a place of our own.

On November 21 we got the best gift since we have been married and that was our sweet baby girl Taylee. We were so excited to be parents and have such a precious child of God to raise and love. We knew she was perfect when the first thing the doctor said was "That baby has the biggest feet I have ever seen a baby have" We couldn't be more proud to be parents of baby with the world's biggest feet.
Taylee's feet compared to my sister's baby who is just 6 months younger.

It has blown our mind how fast this last year has gone... it seemed like it took her forever to get it and now she isn't even a baby anymore. Taylee is now 11 months and has more attitude, personality and energy then I have ever seen a little girl have. She keeps us on our toes. We have had so much fun with her and been through lots.
Taylee spit up constantly and this is what my shirt looked like most days....

Taylee also had the worst blow outs ever.... usually when I was trying to go somewhere

Taylee also crawled off the bed and fractured her arm.

Taylee has been very good at training us as parents. We are hoping that our next kid has Brant's personality because I don't know if we can handle two Taylee's. We already have our hands full. Even through Taylee never sits still we have been very blessed to have such a happy baby. She is ever cries without a reason
